There are many ways to spend your one week holidays..

David:
I believe that one thing I learnt to strongly apply is going back to the heart of worship. When I went on this mission, it really impacted me how even language does not determine our attitude of worship. When we were at the longhouse, we worshipped in Ibanese. Never heard of the language before? Neither had I. However it still did not affect the attitudes of those who did not understand the language (There were Africans, Singaporeans & Kuching people). We still worshipped God as if it was English! I always believe that it all goes back to how we want to worship God, with all our heart, soul and mind.
I really want to encourage all you Centralites out there that no matter in what way you are worshipping, always worship God with a simple heart that says "I will worship You because it's You." There are a 1001 verses that tell us how simple worship really is, are we listening?
Matthew:
I experience tat God is everywhere even in a small village. People in a small village they are leading very simple lives and they are smiling even though they are nt living in a very good environment. They still continue to serve GOD as lyke wad we does and they reali gif their best as we worship GOD in the language tat neither of us learned b4. It juz makes me tinks tat GOD reali perform miracles and everything anywhere and he is juz right beside us to watch over us. Even if we dun understand the language, we jux sing along and it makes me feel tat GOD presence is everywhere. I have learnt and experience the Love and passion from the Hope Kuching people and the villagers in Sri Aman. They reali luv GOD and the passion in them is reali strong as this ish wad we want to have too. I am reali inspired by them as they cant do evax on the streets, they need build frenship wif people to bring them to church while we can jux simply do it in singapore plus we onli jux need take survey forms to ask ppl do it to build frenship. I wan to encourage all the Centralites waste no time in bringing ppl in to know GOD as CG08 is ending, we shld gif our full shot to complete CG08 so tat we can expand God Kingdom and save the lost souls outside to put a smile on GOD face.
Ming Quan:
I have learn how to be more secure in the lord and be more loving/caring to one another.
Xanthe:
The amazing thing about this mountain climbing experience is not only its peaks, but also the unexpected descends. I always thought that the route to the peak of the mountain was a constant ascend, but through the walk, I discovered that the destination is accompanied by a series of ascends and descends. It is a very cliche message that I do not even have to elaborate, you can already derive it on your own, but I really appreciated how God painted it across to me so personally, and so beautifully.
If I cannot even conquer this “mountain”, how can I conquer the world?


Yen Li:
I realised i have learnt a lot thru the trip in Kuching. If there"s one thing i would say in short is- TO HAVE ONE, YOU GOT TO BE ONE. We must take the initiative to develop our relationship with God and ppl. In God"s family we"re never lonely, even with people of different nationality or different cultures. When God"s in the picture, all of us are of one! We can relate and share life with one another as though we know each other for a very long time. There"s the power of God in us- The Common Love! I"m truly inspired by the love the hope kuching ppl have for God. Last but not least, i really appreciate and cherish the brothers and sisters in hope kuching! Thk you!

Daniel:
One thing that hit me really very much is the similarity between Hope Kuching and us and all the things that i saw. .Haha.... I seen it in Ablaze and i also saw it in Hope Kuching. God is really building the youths up in his ways and i am very inspired by how people are contributing to the ministry. Respect all those people very much and enjoy their company too. One main thing i learn through this missions trip is to learn what God is doing over at other places, the best way is to go and see. I saw people serving God with their lives - Climbing mountains to outreach, driving youths to CG, hosting us well and making us feel super loved.

How will you want to spend your next holiday?
